Manufactured from 3 mm Corten steel, these panels gradually develop a distinctive rust-coloured patina when exposed to the weather. As the patina matures, it forms a protective layer that slows further corrosion while allowing the steel to retain its strength. The natural variation gives every panel a unique appearance.
Powder-Coated Aluminium
Manufactured from 3 mm aluminium, these panels are professionally prepared and powder coated to provide a durable, corrosion-resistant and low-maintenance finish.
Speeding up the Corten patina: The natural weathering process can be accelerated by cleaning the steel and applying white vinegar outdoors, followed by repeated wet and dry cycles. Once the surface has developed an even earthy patina, no longer feels powdery, and little rust transfers to a clean cloth, the initial weathering stage is considered stabilised and the panel is ready for installation. The colour will continue to deepen naturally over time.

Naturally Weathering Corten Steel
Our artwork is supplied in its raw steel finish, not pre-rusted. Over time, exposure to the elements creates a beautiful, earthy rust patina that continues to deepen in colour.
Also known as weathering steel, Corten develops a protective surface layer that helps slow further corrosion, unlike ordinary mild steel.
How to Speed Up the Rusting Process
If you prefer the rich rusted appearance sooner, place your artwork outdoors and lightly spray it with white vinegar to encourage the natural weathering process.
During initial weathering, rust runoff can stain concrete, paving and other surrounding surfaces. We recommend allowing the artwork to weather in an area where runoff will not cause damage.
After approximately two weeks, rinse the artwork thoroughly and allow it to dry. Check whether any loose rust transfers to your hands or a clean cloth. Once little or no residue transfers, the initial weathering stage has settled sufficiently for installation. Weathering times will vary depending on environmental conditions, and the patina will continue to mature naturally.
Easy Installation
Our Corten steel wall art can be mounted using a nail, hook, magnet, bracket or suitable screws and spacers. Heavy-duty removable hook-and-loop strips may also be suitable, depending on the artwork’s weight and mounting surface.

$495.00This simple composting toilet comes as a flat pack to use in many situations like Tiny Homes, Caravan’s, Boat or Cabins.
Every time someone flushes a normal toilet, approximately 10 litres of clean drinkable water is contaminated and flushed away. Having a compost toilet is a little bit of a mind-shift, but really it is just like composting your food scraps based around aerobic breakdown of organic matter.
Made from untreated plywood with stainless steel hinges and screws. No flies can enter unlike other systems on the market.
The lid is extra wide for those of you who like comfort.

Sealing is recommended with either Tung Oil, Linseed Oil or a Natural Paint so that it can be wiped clean.
Let’s talk about Humanure:
Our Poo essentially, and how we take this precious resource and use it’s fertility instead of flushing it away to a treatment plant, the ocean or to a tank. Water is a valuable resource and so is our humanure. Recycling nutrients back into the land instead of creating pollution in the world.
To be a part of the closed-loop system of growing our food, eating it, excreting it and then composting it – we are giving back to the earth what we had originally borrowed from it. It’s just part of human life – we all gotta poop!
With this bucket system we simply do our business and put on a bit of sawdust and then close the lid. When the bucket is full we take it outside sealed with the lid and replace the bucket. Basically the mass heap of buckets triggers a mass of microbial activity, this reaches thermophilic temperatures to kill the pathogens (around 55 degrees, is important to check with a thermometer).
We don’t separate out our pee in this system as we haven’t found the smell to be a problem at all. People always comment that the toilet doesn’t smell!
Please Note: This system has been designed for a 20 litre bucket with lid. Buckets are not included with the flat pack system.
